Quote: To “emigrate” is to leave a country.
Reflections: As the quote states the word "emigrate" means to leave a country. What I found interesting was that the source continued and explained the difference between "emigrate" and "immigrate". According to the source the 'e' prefix in the word emigrate means "to leave", or "exit". On the other hand I found that the 'im' prefix of immigrate is a altered form of the 'in' prefix which means "not". With that information we can see the differece between these two words which are sometimes used interchangeably although it is incorrect to do so, as they mean opposite things.
